i dated this guy from Ireland and he wanted to cook me foods from his homeland. it was cool, it was kinda poetic in this strange way.
This guy I was dating invited me over. I assumed he had plans, but nope. He wanted to play video games. I was super annoyed at first until he busted out Super Mario Brothers which is a childhood favorite of mine (previously told him that) and I haven’t played it since I was a kid. It ended up being a really thoughtful date night and we had so much fun. We ordered pizza and he had junk food and we just ate cr*p food and played games all night while talking.
We have this cute lake that sits in the middle of this massive park, anyways, my husband took us to go paddle boating throughout the lake. It was a beautiful day.
My then boyfriend now husband took me to go for a wine tasting in this cute wine town outside the city we live in. It was super expensive and I don’t think he realized it until he went to pay. The face he made when the wine tasting and two glasses of wine cost over a $100, I will enver forget that.
My ex-boyfriend took me to go pick apples then went back to his house and cooked an apple pie with it. I really enjoyed that day but not so much him.
We had been dating awhile but we did a daycation and went hiking and then to the wineries afterwards.
No everyones ideal date day but my man took me to a little cafe in the city then to the art gallery for my brithday. We had a blast.
It was a first date my now husband who took me to a winery and brought a picnic basket. It gave me 1950s feels.
One of the best dates I have been on was with my ex who took me on a horseback ride. It was a really cool experience, it was during the day so afterwards we went and got dinner. It was a fun way to spend the day.
