City Musuem
So technically, City Museum isn’t a museum, but it is fun! Inside an old warehouse is one of the most unique destinations in Saint Louis, Missouri. Filled with tunnels, slides, and secret passages, allowing for a fantastic experience.
At the City Museum, you can crawl through four stories of tunnels of different shapes, sizes, and designs. You may find yourself entering the root of a tree as you climb to the top of the building. You can even slide down the 10-story spiral slide.
During the summertime, you can experience the rooftop ferris wheel, planetarium, and even the bus that hangs over the building’s edge.
Like everything else about the City Museum, the dining experiences are unique. With several different options for food and drinks throughout the facility. There are three that particularly stand out as being extremely unusual. One is the 1st-floor patio located outside of the Cabin Inn (inside bar). At night the patio glows with lights strung from the ceiling adding ambiance to the overall design. Then on the 3rd floor, you have Beatnik Bob’s Cafe, which features an array of neon lights. Last but not least is the rooftop cafe that provides an absolutely gorgeous view.
Another significant aspect of the City Museum is that it’s designed for people of all ages. If you are worried about crawling on your legs for hours, then stop by the gift shop for knee pads.

With over 30,000 items on display at the Art Museum, you will be entertained for hours. The museum offers a variety of self-guided exhibits. These exhibits allow your child to be a pretend Dentist, Doctor, or Pharmacist for the day. Another great exhibition offers at the Healthworks!
